“Matahari is one of my most personal creations — a bottled memory of childhood.
 
Growing up in a small town in Negeri Sembilan, some of my happiest memories were spent at my late great-grandfather’s home during weekends. His house was surrounded by a vast fruit orchard where I would run freely beneath the tropical sun, laughing, climbing trees, and breathing in the scent of ripening fruits carried by the warm air.
 
There was a kind of innocence and joy in those moments that I have always carried with me. Life felt simple, endless, and full of light.
 
I wanted Matahari to capture that feeling — bright fruits opening with freshness and playfulness, soft florals blooming like sunlight through leaves, and warm woods settling gently like the comfort of memory itself.
 
To me, Matahari is happiness preserved in scent.
 
It is the warmth of home, the glow of childhood, and the feeling of being completely carefree, even if only for a moment.”
